Has anyone ever noticed/called out the movie industry on it's ridiculous notion that if a movie is set in a time period waaaaaay back in the day, the characters should have a British accent?

-300, takes place in Sparta...not Britain.
-Gladiator, takes place in Rome...not Britain.
-Troy
-Alexander.
-EVEN PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. FRANCE, NOT BRITAIN.

There are more examples that I can't think of, but it's ridiculous.

Way to contradict yourself, world.

Before being testified we are asked to place our hand on the bible and swear to tell the truth.
In the bible it says no one can judge us except God himself.
We are there in that place with our hand on that bible to be judged and sentenced by a man. Just a man who gets paid to judge.

What. The. Fuck.
